Material characteristics

Buttero is a vegetable tanned leather made by WALPIER, a long-established tannery in the Tuscany region of Italy. Traditionally, it is soaked in vegetable tannins.
It is tanned slowly over a long period of time and has plenty of vegetable oil added.
