10 years ago, I moved to Scaffati, near the southern Italian resort town of Amalfi. “baiadera” was founded by sisters Anna and Rosaria Supino who live there. The two, who were interested in art, used an unprecedented idea to create hand-painted bags on leather for the first time in Italy.

The works have vivid colors reminiscent of the bright landscapes of southern Italy. The innovative and colorful designs are inspired by their favorite movies, operas, music, and the towns they have traveled to. In addition to its functionality as a bag, it continues to bring the joy of being an art accessory to fashionistas around the world.
