A limited edition wallet with specially made brass hardware and veal leather

A modernized version of an antique British wallet produced in the late 19th century.

This is a reproduction of the sharp brass purse that was popular around the 19th century.
When you open the coin purse, it connects to the bill pocket, allowing you to take out bills directly, creating a playful design.
The main body is made of traditional Tuscan Vachetta leather, which ages beautifully and elegantly.
Comes with a drawstring bag and presentation box, making it a great gift.

Classic

Traditional Italian Vachetta leather

The leather used is "Toiano", an oil leather produced by Volpi, a tannery in the Tuscany region of Italy, which boasts the world's highest quality.
It is made using the traditional full vegetable tanning method, a very laborious process that takes a long time.
It has a moist and smooth texture unique to European leather, and a fine-grained silver surface, and its elegant and beautiful aging is its charm.
The dye and oil are soaked into the core over a long period of time, making the paper very durable.

Custom brass fittings

The striking metal fittings are custom-made items handcrafted by skilled craftsmen.
This is the main feature of the design. You can choose from two fastening positions depending on the amount of contents.

The concept is "Travel Tools"

Vasco is a Japanese brand that creates bags and leather accessories based on the concept of "travel tools."
Vascofagama (Vasco da Gama) was a great navigator and explorer who pioneered new continents during the Age of Discovery.
We named it "VASCO" with the desire to reflect in our manufacturing the insatiable spirit of adventure that travelers of the past continued to pursue throughout their lives.
Vasco manages all processes from planning, sample production, to mass production. He says, "Items made with the same consciousness have a real impact that cannot be expressed in words."
The concept of "Travel Tools" conveys the meaning of "things that remain even as others are selected out," and we create heavy-duty items that will not lose their luster over time.

Atelier

Vasco's manufacturing is based in Koenji, Tokyo.
In the atelier, which was renovated to resemble an old sailing ship or port warehouse, a small group of elite craftsmen use handmade techniques to produce a wide variety of bags and leather accessories.

Craftsman ship

Each of Vasco's craftsmen is highly skilled and has a keen sense of style. Rather than following an assembly line, each craftsman handles the entire process from pattern making to sewing and finishing by himself/herself.
Our craftsmen are well versed in leather knowledge, sewing, and finishing, which allows them to express sensory nuances and particular details that are difficult to put into words.
At Vasco, which continues to evolve as a world-class professional group, we believe that Made In Japan does not mean "made in Japan" but rather that "the Japanese spirit resides in the product."
