A 2-way tote bag based on a vintage document case

Full vegetable tanned kid leather and cow leather from Himeji are dyed using a traditional hand-dyeing method called Oka-zome, and then shaded with a Kogashi process to give them a vintage look.
The zipper is a vintage-style "UNIVERSAL" zipper.
It is a large capacity size that can accommodate up to B4 size. It is basically a tote bag, but the top part can be folded into a flap.
It can also be used as a shoulder bag by attaching the included shoulder strap.

A unique collection that symbolizes the brand

The "Old Oil" series has a vintage look and feel, created using a traditional hand-dyeing technique known as "Oka-zome."
The full vegetable tanned leather from Himeji, tanned with tannins extracted from mimosa and chestnut, is then painstakingly dyed in multiple layers by Vasco craftsmen with their skilled techniques.
The more you use it, the more glossy and texture it will become, allowing you to enjoy the changes over time.

Point

Compatible with B4 size. Great for everyday use, both on and off the job, as well as for travel and business trips.

Large PCs, thick files, drinks and small items can all be neatly stored.
This is a reliable and maneuverable bag that can be carried in different ways depending on the contents.
The bottom plate is also removable, allowing you to adjust the gusset.

A zipper that you can use with confidence even on rainy days.

This is a UNIVERSAL zipper.

Shoulder strap

It can be easily attached and removed with a one-touch hook.
The sliding shoulder rest ensures stability, prevents slipping, and reduces strain on the shoulders.

The metal fittings at the base are made of brass, along with the leather.
You can enjoy the aging process.

Plenty of pockets

There is a pocket on the outside that can hold B5 size documents.
It is also convenient for storing smartphones and pass cases.
The elegant brass hook is the highlight.
It also looks great if you choose to carry it with this side facing out.
The three inner pockets are also useful for storing small items.

The concept is "Travel Tools"

Atelier

Vasco's manufacturing is based in Koenji, Tokyo.
In the atelier, which was renovated to resemble an old sailing ship or port warehouse, a small group of elite craftsmen use handmade techniques to produce a wide variety of bags and leather accessories.

Craftsman ship

Each of Vasco's craftsmen is highly skilled and has a keen sense of style. Rather than following an assembly line, each craftsman handles the entire process from pattern making to sewing and finishing by himself/herself.
Our craftsmen are well versed in leather knowledge, sewing, and finishing, which allows them to express sensory nuances and particular details that are difficult to put into words.
At Vasco, which continues to evolve as a world-class professional group, we believe that Made In Japan does not mean "made in Japan" but rather that "the Japanese spirit resides in the product."
