This is the "Old Oil" series, which features a vintage-like look achieved through a traditional hand-dyeing technique called "hill dyeing."
Full-vegetable tanned leather from Himeji, tanned with tannins extracted from mimosa and chestnut, is meticulously dyed in multiple layers by vasco craftsmen's skillful techniques.
The luster and texture increase with use, allowing you to enjoy its aging for a long time.

It's sized to fit a large laptop. Documents and a PC fit perfectly, making it easy to use for work. Although slim, it expands to accommodate its contents, so I was able to store drinks and a thick wallet with ease.

Concept: "Travel Tools"

Vasco is a Japanese brand that creates bags and leather goods based on the concept of "travel tools."
Vasco da Gama was a great navigator and explorer who pioneered new continents during the Age of Discovery.
The brand name "VASCO" was chosen to reflect the tireless spirit of challenge that ancient travelers pursued throughout their lives.
Vasco handles all processes from planning and sample production to mass production. "Objects created with the same mindset possess an authentic power that cannot be expressed in words," they say.
The concept of "travel tools" embodies "things that remain despite being eliminated," and they create heavy-duty items that do not lose their brilliance over time.

Atelier

Vasco's manufacturing is based in Koenji, Tokyo.
Inside their atelier, renovated to evoke an old sailing ship or port warehouse, a select few craftsmen use handmade techniques to produce a wide variety of bags and leather goods.

Each of Vasco's craftsmen possesses both solid skill and artistic sense, and rather than working on an assembly line, each person handles all processes from pattern making to sewing and finishing.
It is precisely because the craftsmen are well-versed in leather knowledge, sewing, and finishing that they can express even subtle nuances and particular details that are difficult to put into words.
Vasco, a continuously evolving group of world-class professionals, believes that "Made In Japan" does not mean "made in Japan" but rather "the spirit of the Japanese residing in the product."
