ELEGANZA leather is made from high-quality cowhide originating in Himeji.
It is produced using a combination tanning method that leverages the characteristics of both vegetable tannin and chrome tanning.
Chrome tanning, which uses trivalent chromium, has the property of binding leather fibers more strongly than components used in other tanning methods, allowing for the creation of highly durable leather.
On the other hand, vegetable tannins impart a soft, supple feel and lightness to the leather, allowing for the enjoyment of authentic leather aging.
Eleganza leather cleverly fuses these two distinct characteristics.

Only dyes that preserve the original texture of the leather are used, and the leather is dyed through (color penetrates to the core), making it unlikely for the color to chip even with minor scratches.
With a rich, moist texture full of oil, and a glossy finish achieved by ironing, it boasts a deep, elegant color.
The more you use it, the more beautiful its color and luster become.

Koshu-ori: A Luxurious and Traditional Textile with 400 Years of History

The lining uses Koshu-ori, a traditional craft from Yamanashi Prefecture.
This beautiful fabric, a traditional Japanese craft, is woven to make patterns appear three-dimensional, offering elegant colors and a smooth texture.
Additionally, the fabric surface is treated with a special coating, similar to that used on umbrellas, making it lightweight, durable, and resistant to dirt.
While Koshu-ori is commonly used for umbrellas and ties, sot uses it for the lining of leather products due to its beautiful luster, deep colors, and excellent durability.
