The Long History of the "Trucker Wallet"

It is said to have been given this nickname because it was a favorite among American truck drivers in the 1950s, who used it to carry delivery slips and other items. The grommet for the wallet chain is also said to have originated with bikers and truck drivers who used it to prevent their wallets from falling out of their back pockets while working.

Chromexcel

Horween Leather Company, known for manufacturing the finest cordovan (shell cordovan), is a traditional and globally renowned American tannery with over a century of history.
Chromexcel leather is one of their flagship products, highly trusted by boot manufacturers worldwide.
Chromexcel is cowhide made using a method developed approximately 100 years ago. Selected North American hides are "combination tanned" and then thoroughly infused with a special blend of four or more oils, including beef tallow, beeswax, vegetable oil, and fish oil.
Because it is deeply permeated with rich natural oils, it is thick yet supple, possessing a unique soft texture and high durability.

The Charm of Unique Shades and Brown Core

For the finish, the natural-colored base leather is dyed with an aniline hand-finish according to a unique recipe.
A distinctive feature is that when bent or pulled, a vivid hue emerges from deep within the surface color.
With the black color, as it is used, the brown undertone gradually appears, allowing you to enjoy the charm of "brown core black."
Other colors also exhibit beautiful unevenness with varying shades due to "pull-up" (the phenomenon of oil migrating within the leather), and they develop a rich, seasoned look with extended use.

Point

Coins, Cards, and Bills All Neatly Organized

The interior is also made of exquisite all-leather. Upon opening, there are three card slots immediately visible. The brand logo is hot-stamped.
Flipping that open reveals the bill compartment, which opens in an L-shape for easy access.
It also features a gusseted coin pocket for easy retrieval, with space for another card behind it.

Snap Closure

The front flap is made by laminating two pieces of leather to enhance its robustness.

Grommet

It comes with a grommet for a wallet chain.

Original Brand Box

Each item is inspected, then wrapped in a convenient non-woven fabric bag for storage, and placed in this box.
For gifts, we add wrapping paper and our familiar gold ribbon. We also take full measures against rain. Please rest assured.
