The "Trucker Wallet" with a long history

It is said that this wallet earned its nickname because it was favored by American truck drivers in the 1950s. At that time, it was apparently used to hold delivery slips and the like.
It comes with eyelets for a wallet chain, and these chains are also said to have been first used by bikers and truck drivers to prevent their wallets from falling out of their workwear's back pockets.
This bi-fold wallet, adopting the shape of such a historic trucker wallet, is compact yet offers excellent storage capacity and ease of use.
Crafted from carefully selected Italian horse butt leather, this rugged trucker wallet has a unique presence, enhanced by the rich leather texture and "chashin" (tea core) effect.

HORSE BUTT

Horse butt refers to rare leather from the horse's hindquarters, known for its high fiber density.
The INCEPTION series uses Italian horse butt leather that captivated its creator. This is a full-vegetable tanned leather from "GUIDI," a tannery in Tuscany, Italy, established in 1896. The surface treatment is meticulous, giving it a sophisticated feel that belies its thickness. Over years of use, it develops a delicate luster unique to horse butt. It has a moist feel and a finish that retains its thickness. The attention to detail extends to the interior, which is also entirely leather.

The "Chashin" (Tea Core) creates a unique and appealing contrast

As it is used, the surface pigment gradually wears off due to rubbing, revealing the underlying base. Since the base is dyed mocha all the way through, it creates a wonderfully subdued appearance.
This state is known as "chashin" and is cherished by many vintage enthusiasts.
In this series, the edges are finished to allow you to enjoy this contrast.

Point

Coins, cards, and bills are neatly organized

The interior is also made entirely of carefully selected leather. Upon opening, there are three card slots immediately visible, embossed with the brand logo.
Flipping those open reveals a bill compartment that opens in an L-shape for easy access.
It also features a gusseted coin pocket for easy retrieval. Another card can be stored behind it.

Snap closure

Because horse butt leather is moist and flexible (stretchy), the front flap is made by laminating two pieces to increase its strength.

Eyelets

It comes with eyelets for a wallet chain.

Original brand box

Each item is inspected, then wrapped in a convenient non-woven fabric bag for storage, and placed in this box.
For gifts, we add wrapping paper and our familiar gold ribbon. We also take thorough measures against rain. Please rest assured.
