INCEPTION / Horsehide
Horsehide pouch with leather string that can be tightened like a drawstring bag
The leather strap is made of the same horsehide as the main body, and has a core inside. There is a card case on the back, so you can put your transportation IC card in and move around smoothly without having to take it out.
The length of the shoulder strap can be adjusted, so you can carry it by hand or over your shoulder. It is a lightweight shoulder bag that is easy to carry regardless of age or gender.
HORSE HIDE
In the Horsehide Collection, the natural look that can be seen within the beautiful luster is reminiscent of a horse galloping across a vast field.
The clever aging process is very cool and fun. It's a masterpiece that lets you feel the magnificent flow of time and its breath.
Horsehide leather refers to leather made from the torso of an adult horse.
Originally, we use base materials with carefully selected fabric content and size for clothing applications such as flight jackets.
A light kneading process in the final process gives it an indescribable soft feel and texture.
The "brown core" creates a unique contrast
As the piece is used, the pigment on the surface will gradually peel off due to rubbing, revealing the base material inside. The base material is dyed mocha all the way to the core, giving it a very rustic look.
This condition is called "brown core" and is familiar to many vintage enthusiasts.

| Material characteristics | - The horsehide is made from raw hides sourced in Europe and is vegetable tanned to complete the base. Originally, we use base materials with carefully selected fabric content and size for clothing applications such as flight jackets. During the dyeing process, the fabric is dyed mocha not only on the surface but also to the core, and the surface is given a pigment finish as a final finishing touch. The leather is finished to have a stable color and a glossy texture, and in the final process it is lightly kneaded to give it an indescribable soft feel to the touch. It is also lightweight. ・Horsebutt is a rare, high-fiber-density leather from the buttocks of a horse. In the bag series, it is used on the belt joints. Here, we use a base that could not be completed as cordovan, and finish it to give it the unique feel of horse leather and natural wrinkles on the surface that are not found in cow leather. Similarly, we select the thickest horse butt hides possible from Europe and tan them with vegetable tannins. The dyeing process is intentionally left in its original dye form, so that the leather can be enjoyed as it ages with use. |
