HORSE BUTT

Horse butt refers to the rare leather from the horse's hindquarters, which has a high fiber density.
The leather used in this INCEPTION series is Italian horse butt, which the craftsmen are particularly fond of. It is full-vegetable tanned leather from "GUIDI," a tannery in Tuscany, Italy, established in 1896. The surface treatment is meticulous, giving it a high-quality feel that belies its thickness. With long-term use, it develops a delicate sheen unique to horse butt. It has a moist feel and a thick finish. The interior is also made entirely of leather.

"Chashin" (brown core) creates a unique, tasteful contrast.

As it is used, the pigment on the surface gradually peels off due to friction, revealing the base layer underneath. Since the core of the base layer is dyed mocha, it takes on a deeply tasteful appearance.
This condition is called "Chashin" (brown core) and is popular among many vintage enthusiasts.
In this series, the edges are finished to allow you to enjoy this contrast.
