Canvas woven in a plain weave using cotton or linen. It is divided into stages called "No." depending on the thickness.
There are sizes from 0 to 11, with size 0 being the thickest and heaviest, and size 11 being the thinnest and lightest.
This canvas is size 9, so it is a thin and light material.
Although it may be called thin, it is finely woven and treated with paraffin, so it feels soft and durable to the touch.
Paraffin processing is a water-repellent finish that is applied by dipping the fabric in wax.
The more you use it, the softer it becomes, and you can enjoy aging with leather just like denim.
