Toyooka is Japan's number one city for bags. The techniques for its original craftsmanship are said to date back to the Kojiki.
Currently, about 150 bag-related companies are gathered within a 5km radius of Toyooka's city center,
and are said to produce about 70% of domestic bags.
Toyooka Kaban is a regional brand that boasts a rich history and advanced technical skills,
and like this bag, only high-quality bags that have cleared strict inspection items such as stitching and materials are certified.
