Soft and lustrous, elegant and practical crocodile-embossed leather

This beautiful leather is made by a long-established tannery in Tuscany, Italy, the holy land of leather.
The base material is kip leather (from young cows aged between 6 months and 2 years). *Kip leather has a firmer fiber density than calf leather, but is not as hard as adult cow leather, providing an excellent balance of softness and durability.
The three-dimensionality and unevenness of the scales are realistically reproduced using a delicate mold, and a unique ironing and wax finish adds a deep luster.
It has a luxurious look that is reminiscent of real crocodile leather.
In addition, a combination tanning process using chrome and tannin keeps the leather supple while preserving the beautiful embossed edges.
This gives it a soft feel and a rich luster, while also being strong enough to withstand everyday use.
