Richly textured Italian leather complements the prominent metal fittings

The Italian leather used is given a "butafuri"揉み加工 (shrinking) treatment, and after sewing, it is further washed, oiled, and buffed to create a unique grained texture and vintage feel.

Each original metal fitting is carefully hand-carved and polished.
Enjoy how the leather ages over time.
*Due to the handmade finishing process, there may be individual differences in the sand patterns created by sand casting.

Ikenohata Ginkawaten is a leather factory with a workshop and shop in Ikenohata, Taito-ku, Tokyo.
Each item is planned and manufactured by artisans, and the highly original items, created by incorporating feedback from actual users, are a must-see.
"Haru" is a product from Ikenohata Ginkawaten that makes the most of the sand-cast metal fittings produced by sculptor Haru.
It features a vintage-like leather texture achieved through rubbing (shrinking) and product washing, along with a simple design that prioritizes functionality.
