Bridle Leather

Bridle leather, one of the world's three great leathers, is famous for being used in horse saddles and other equestrian equipment. To withstand considerable stress, beeswax is repeatedly applied during the tanning process to enhance its durability and water resistance. It is a practical and high-quality leather.

About Bloom

Bridle leather may have white streaks of wax called "bloom," but please rest assured that these are not scratches or defects.
This is when the impregnated wax and oil components have surfaced, and they will naturally blend in and disappear as you use the product, enhancing the unique luster of the leather.
You can also lightly remove them by brushing with a soft-bristled brush.

"Ikenohata Ginkawa-ten" is a leather factory with a workshop and shop in Ikenohata, Taito-ku, Tokyo. "CRAMP" is their original brand. With the "kasugai" (a type of metal clamp, a part of a belt) as its logo motif, the brand's concept is "connecting creators and users" in its manufacturing. Each item is planned and manufactured by artisans, and the highly original items that reflect the voices of actual users are a must-see.
