Material

Bridle leather, one of the world's three great leathers, is famously used for horse saddles. To withstand considerable stress, beeswax is repeatedly applied during the tanning process, enhancing its durability and water resistance. It is a practical and high-quality leather.
The central brass fitting is cast, offering an elegant three-dimensional feel that cannot be achieved with sheet metal. It serves both as reinforcement and decoration, and its shape makes it easy to hook your finger. You can enjoy the aging process along with the leather.

"Ikenohata Ginkawaten" is a leather factory with a workshop and shop in Ikenohata, Taito-ku, Tokyo. "CRAMP" is Ikenohata Ginkawaten's original brand. With the motif of a cramp, one of the parts of a belt, their concept is "to connect creators and users," and they produce items accordingly. Each item is planned and manufactured individually by craftsmen, and the unique items created by incorporating feedback from actual users are a must-see.
