The ashtray body is made of brass by a metal processing factory in downtown Tokyo, which also handles OEM for global brands.
With high Japanese technical skill, smooth opening and closing have been achieved.

Material

Produced in Tuscany, Italy, avoiding modern leather making and using traditional vegetable tanning methods with time and effort. Its fine surface beauty and resulting vibrant colors are popular, leading to a robust and tasteful finish.
Because it uses the shoulder part of the leather, each product develops unique patterns. Wrinkles called "tiger's eye" create unique gradations as they are polished through aging.
The smooth and beautiful surface is delicate, making it susceptible to scratches. However, these gradually accumulating scratches also become a history that colors the individuality of the leather product.

The main body's substantial brass hardware is intentionally left untreated on the surface, allowing you to enjoy its aging process along with the leather.

"Ikenohata Ginkawaten" is a leather factory with a workshop and shop in Ikenohata, Taito-ku, Tokyo. "CRAMP" is the original brand of Ikenohata Ginkawaten. Based on the concept of "connecting creators and users," using a cramp (kasugai), which is one of the parts of a belt, as the logo motif, they are engaged in manufacturing. Each item is planned and manufactured one by one by craftsmen, and the highly original items created by reflecting the voices of actual users are a must-see.
