REDMOON: The origin of all wallets. The HR-01 model

The "Horse Riding (HR-01)" was created in 1993 by Keiichiro Goto, who vowed to create truly good items that would last and be useful to others.
Designed with horse saddles and gun holsters as motifs, it is an authentic handmade leather wallet that goes well with jeans.
This became the prototype of leather wallets in the REDMOON style,
and it was also with this wallet that the value standard of leather, which changes color and develops a unique character with use, began to be advocated.

A special model featuring eagle motifs on an immortal masterpiece

This model is adorned with brass and leather parts shaped like an eagle.
They peek out from your pocket along with the impactful REDMOON original 30mm concho. The brass plate on the face and the area around the strap are finished with hand stitching by artisans.

【SADDLE LEATHER】
REDMOON's original 100% vegetable-tanned undyed leather.
The "unfinished" process, without surface treatment, maximizes the natural texture of the leather. By slowly tanning the leather in a tannin bath, it achieves a robust finish with more hardness and stiffness compared to oil leather.
This leather develops a unique texture and beautiful aging over time, becoming one-of-a-kind. In the final step, glazing is applied to bring out its natural luster.

【OIL LEATHER】
REDMOON's original steerhide, a combination-tanned leather using both tannin and chrome.
While maintaining sufficient strength, it is made supple and soft by incorporating more oil than usual.
Because it contains abundant oil, it requires relatively less maintenance, making it suitable for everyday use.
With use, it develops a natural luster and enjoyable aging. Compared to saddle leather, its color changes more gently, making it recommended for those who prefer a more subdued aging process.
