Established in 1873, Masseur is a Belgian tannery specializing in vegetable-tanned leather that brings out the natural texture of the hide.
With use, it develops a beautifully transparent luster.
This material allows you to fully enjoy the pleasure of "growing" your leather!

What is saddle leather?

It is a material that came to be called "saddle leather" because it was used for horse saddles.
It is a type of vegetable-tanned undyed leather, but its distinctive feature is that a generous amount of oil is soaked in after tanning to enhance its strength and durability.
Since it contains a lot of oil, it is also highly flexible.

What is pull-up leather?

"Pull-up" is named after the "pull-up effect," and it is a processing method that involves thoroughly impregnating the leather with oil during its creation process to give it depth.
When it is folded or stretched during use, the oil inside moves, creating a rich change in its appearance.
The part of the cowhide used is typically the shoulder of an adult cow, which is thicker on average.
It is characterized by high fiber density and exceptional resilience, and its transparent luster further increases with use, gradually becoming familiar and developing into a unique material of your own.
