Established in 1873, Masure is a Belgian tannery that specializes in vegetable tanning, which brings out the natural texture of leather.
With use, it develops a beautiful, transparent sheen.
This material allows you to fully enjoy the pleasure of watching leather evolve!

What is Saddle Leather?

It's a material named after its use in horse saddles.
It's a type of vegetable-tanned naked leather, but its distinctive feature is that it's impregnated with a generous amount of oil after tanning to enhance its robustness and durability.
Its high oil content also makes it very flexible.

What is Pull-Up Leather?

"Pull-up" is named after the "pull-up effect," which is a processing method that deeply impregnates leather with oil during its creation to add depth to the leather.
As you use it, when it's bent or stretched, the oil inside shifts, creating a rich visual change in its appearance.
The part of the cowhide used is typically the shoulder of adult cattle, which is generally thicker.
It's characterized by its high fiber density and very strong stiffness, and its transparent luster further increases and gradually settles with use, developing into a material unique to you.
